Well, I caught a cold last week. Blech. I've been dying for some nyquil to get me through the night without hacking my lungs up onto my pillow (and I'm sure that my husband has been too!), but Ms. knocked-up here can't take any such thing.. Blearg!
So between being sick and my husband kindly helping me install Fallout 2 (yes.. I said two.. I love that game so much and we really can't afford the third one just yet) on the laptop.. Well, needless to say, my productivity in the art department has plummeted to zero. ~sigh~
On a better note, I had a burst of that strange old mother-to-be nesting syndrome and we got quite a bit accomplished this weekend.. (Ok, maybe it wasn't that much, but it sure felt like it at the end of the day.)We got the chair rails up in our bedroom (by we I mean Josh) shelves installed in the nursery closet for some much needed storage (again, solely Josh.. I just offered moral support and such.. ) all the baby clothes are washed, stuffed animals too (hooray!) I painted the wooden brackets for the nursery shelf wall (leopard print. Yeah!) I also finished packing the diaper bag for our upcoming trip to the hospital.. (it was hard to decide on a coming home outfit for Phin... soooo many cute and teensy clothes.)
Ten days or so left and I still have so much to do.. I am uickly learning the meaning of "not enough hours in the day". Oh well, it'll either get done or it won't. If not no big deal, eh? We'll take it in stride and just go with the flow I guess.
